Shirts are measured by lying the shirt flat and measuring across the body of the shirt just below the arm pits for the chest measurement and from the bottom to the top of the shoulder for length. Due to variations in the manufacturing process, sizes do vary slightly between the different types of shirts. As a general rule tiedye and rifle wash shirts tend to be a little larger. Tolerances on dimensions are +/- 0.75" (2cm).

Generally select children's sizes equal to age or one size up for example -
Size 2 for a 1 - 2 year old
Size 6 for a 5 - 6 year old
Size 10 for a 9 - 10 year old
